North East Herts MP, Sir Oliver Heald, is a co-sponsor with Michael Fabricant MP of a Bill to protect our Ancient Woodland in England.
On Wednesday 23 January, North East Herts MP Oliver Heald was named as one of the supporters for a Bill to make provision so that the Ancient Woodland Inventory is regularly updated. This will make it clear how well our Ancient Woodland is being protected and hopefully, will help to inform those with planning responsibilities and those who might put Ancient Woodland at risk through pollution.
Commenting, Sir Oliver said:
‘I’ve supported important environmental measures and the creation of more woodland in England. I’m happy to be working with Michael Fabricant MP to ensure there is a proper Inventory kept updated so that we can monitor progress.’
