North East Herts MP Oliver Heald has received many complaints from residents about the rising cost of bin collections and the reduction in service.  Oliver has written to the Leader of North Herts District Council asking for an explanation.

Commenting, Oliver Heald said, “When they were in opposition they opposed charges for bin collections but since they have been in control of North Herts District Council, they have put up charges and are now reducing the service.  Residents are not unnaturally concerned at this and I believe they need a clear explanation of why this has happened.”
