North East Herts MP, Oliver Heald, met members of the Loan Charge Action Group who live in the constituency at the major Parliamentary Lobby this week.
Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has promised a thoroughgoing review and those affected were asking Oliver to press for the review to be speedy and independent with a suspension of enforcement.
Oliver has written to the Chancellor of the Exchequer taking up these concerns.
Commenting, Oliver said: ‘I am concerned about the effect of the Loan Charge on constituents. I have previously written to Ministers and raised questions in the House of Commons and I welcome the fact that Prime Minister Boris Johnson has now promised a thoroughgoing review. I have pressed for more details about this and will keep in touch with concerned constituents.’
