North East Herts MP Sir Oliver Heald is encouraging local groups and charities to apply for funding from the E.ON Energising Communities Fund.
The Fund awards grants of up to £2,000 which can cover the full or partial cost of energy-related improvements and activities.
Since launching the fund in 2013, E.ON have distributed over £140,000 to almost 85 community groups nationwide. E.ON appreciate that heating bills can account for a large part of the running costs for a community group or charity so their need to become energy efficient and save on costs is really important.
To be eligible for funding, organisations must submit a request by midnight on Monday 29 January 2018. Further information is available at www.eonenergy.com/community
Commenting, Sir Oliver said “This is an excellent opportunity for local groups in our area to get funding to help reduce energy costs and I encourage groups and charities in North East Herts to apply.”
