MP presses for return of club cricket

North East Herts MP Oliver Heald is pressing Ministers for an announcement on when club cricket can re-start. The Sports Minister has responded to a Parliamentary Question - see below.

I have received the attached letter from the Department for Environment and Rural Affairs regarding Chalk Stream extraction.

Black Lives Matter

I have expressed publicly my shock at the killing of George Floyd and have made clear that Black Lives Matter. My hope is that one possible good legacy from this dreadful event is a wider recognition of the need for more action on race equality, both here and in the US. 

MP condemns destruction of monuments and associated tweets

Following newspaper reports in The Daily Mail 10/6 and The Sun 11/6 that the Curator of Royston Museum had shared tweets on how to destroy statues, Oliver Heald MP has received many messages from local people shocked at these reports.
