North East Herts MP Oliver Heald today cut the ribbon to open the new Extended Services Centre at Roysia School in Royston. Present were Headmaster Peter Fielden and Extended Services Manager Cathy Curtis. Also attending were Hub Head Teacher Mike Firth from Meridian School and Heads of local primary schools, staff and parents.
Speaking at the event, Oliver Heald said, “I am delighted to open this excellent Centre which will bring useful services for parents and carers to this part of Royston. I know from work elsewhere in the Constituency of the value of these services and I know that parents value the extended hours service, the school holiday projects and advice and support.
“It is good to see this important development north of the railway. Roysia is going from strength to strength.”
