North East Herts MP Oliver Heald has been voted one of the nation’s top political bloggers in a recent poll. Most of the 650 MPs do now blog, so to come in the Top 30 is a feather in Oliver’s cap.
Oliver’s blog covers many local issues and events and also includes Oliver’s strong and serious national political points of view.
The Total Politics Annual Blog Poll is eagerly awaited each year and is the result of more than 1,500 people who voted during the second half of July.
The List together with articles from leading blog commentators, will be published in the TOTAL POLITICS GUIDE TO POLITICAL BLOGGING, which will be published in mid September.
Commenting Oliver said: “I enjoy communicating with constituents and was one of the first MPs to offer e-mail and a web-site. I started blogging fairly recently so I am delighted that people like it. To come in the Top 30 in the Annual Poll is great and I was also pleased when Iain Dale singled out my blog in his Daily Dozen.”
