North East Herts MP, Oliver Heald, attended this year’s Remembrance Day at Letchworth Garden City and placed a wreath of poppies on the War Memorial on behalf of his constituents. Also present were Deputy Lieutenant Bill Tudor John and Council Chairman Jane Gray, service personnel, scouts, cadets and many civic bodies. Commenting, Oliver Heald said:
"This was one of the best attended Remembrance Days and it was moving to remember the fallen, including those from recent campaigns. I congratulate the Royal British Legion and the RAF team from RAF Henlow on a very fitting tribute."
