North East Herts MP Oliver Heald met Chief Constable Andy Bliss in Letchworth last week to discuss local policing. Crime is falling locally as the Police improve their efficiency. Nevertheless, Oliver took the opportunity to highlight particular concerns about road traffic offences and oil thefts from houses.
Commenting Oliver said “I was pleased to invite the Chief Constable to Letchworth and to discuss constituents concerns. I am glad that crime locally is falling and that the Police are even more efficient and responsive to local concerns.”
