North East Herts MP Oliver Heald is encouraging the Town Councils in his area to nominate young people for the prestigious Philip Lawrence Awards, set up in memory of the London Headmaster who was tragically killed.
The Awards are given to young people aged 11 – 20 who are working to improve their lives and the lives of others. This could be by promoting respect and understanding of faiths, cultures and communities, or promoting active citizenship, crime reduction or community safety. Anyone can nominate a young person or group of young people and further details on the Awards can be found at www.philiplawrenceawards.net
